The Credential

What a CHT is — and what it lets you do

CHT stands for Certified HyperThermic Technician, awarded by the SteamAssage School of Therapy Methods. A CHT delivers SteamAssage HyperThermic Therapy in a private-practice setting using SteamAssage equipment.

✅ A CHT can

Run intake consultations and screen for contraindications
Operate the SteamAssage System+ and Steam Generator safely
Deliver all four signature service tiers
Apply Contrast Therapy with hot steam and iced salt blocks
Copy the SteamAssage blueprint and run their own named practice

⛔ A CHT cannot

Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. CHTs are wellness practitioners, not medical providers. They do not prescribe medication, serve contraindicated clients without written clearance, or modify equipment or teach the method without the separate CHT Instructor Trainer credential.

How the program flows

Discovery Day

Step 1

One intensive ~10-hour live day. Modules 1–5 taught in the room, hands-on with the equipment.

Self-Paced

Step 2

Modules 6–9 over 30 days with one-on-one coaching from your Instructor.

Certification

Step 3

Module 10 — exam, practical, and business plan, live or under proctor.

Step 4

Earn your lifetime CHT, list in the directory, and open your private practice.

Lifetime credential. No mandatory renewal, no required CE hours, no annual fee to keep your CHT. The optional Professional CHT SteamAssage Association ($24/year) adds the directory listing, member pricing, community, and the pathway toward IP licensing.
